Join us for two great days of racing in Newport, R.I., August 14 and 15, hosted by the Ida Lewis Yacht Club, home base of Shields Fleet 9. This regatta is recommended for both newer and more seasoned crews in the Shields class as a chance to test your skills and develop your boatspeed over several races. It’s not all about the racing. Your entry fee includes Saturday evening dinner for a team of five on the deck at Ida Lewis YC, where all can socialize in a safe, outdoor environment in the middle of Newport Harbor.
Visitors: Launching and hauling at Sail Newport for visiting teams is easy and fees are modest. We have moorings and launch service available at no charge for the first five boats that register (and probably more). Get your registration in and we’ll get your spot reserved.
