The following document is an unofficial general outline as to the awarding of our Fleet 9 Trophies and does not represent or amend the official Notice of Race or Sailing Instructions for Fleet 9.
Scoring details shall be as set forth in the Shields Fleet 9 NORs for each series.

Sean Cassidy Memorial Trophy – The races / dates designated as the Spring Aloha Series

OVERALL AWARDS
The Manice Trophy — Overall Fleet Champion (Combines Weds Night & Aloha Weekends)
One award
Timothy Dwyer Award – Most Improved Greatest improvement in overall Wednesday Night placement over previous year (the yacht must have competed during the previous year’s Wednesday night series to qualify).
One award
John Robertson Memorial Trophy – Overall Wednesday Night Series (Combining all three seasons).
Top 5 awarded
Chris Withers Memorial Trophy – 7 best Weds Night scores from the months of June, July & August, among qualified boats. (Qualified boats are those that have not placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd, in any of the previous 4 seasons, or during the current season being sailed.)
Top 3 awarded
Sparkman & Stephens Award for the Concourse Yacht – Best in Show. Presented to the yacht, in the discretion of the Executive Committee, that has been restored or maintained in the most Bristol yacht fashion.
One award
Mid-Fleet Trophy Boat that finishes mid-fleet in the Overall Wednesday Night Series as scored for the John Robertson Memorial award.

Beck Memorial Trophy Top ILYC boat for combined score of the Wed Night Series and the Weekend Series.

Weekly Race Winners
Awarded to the first-place yacht for each race victory in a Wednesday Night Series race.
Robin Wallace Memorial Award – Fleet Captain’s Award
Given to the person or persons who, in the opinion of the Fleet Captain, has given themselves freely and/or most contributed to the overall betterment of the fleet in this past year.
